Minimum entry requirements
- Proficient English language user (confident C1 or above)
- With a high school diploma
- No previous teaching experience is required (but 50% of our trainees are experienced and highly experienced teachers)
- Aged 20+ (our candidates age range: 21 - 60+)
- Sufficient language awareness to teach students at a range of levels
- Confident user of the online tools used during the course (Word/Google Docs, Powerpoint/Google Slides, Gmail, Whatsapp, Google Drive)
- Confident user of a videoconferencing tool (Zoom, Skype or similar)
- With a stable internet connection
- With a laptop/PC, incl. a camera and a headset
- With a good state of health and mental wellbeing
- Ready to commit time (120 contact hours + 80 self-study hours)
- Similar time zone for live video sessions (Spanish time - CET)

The Level of CELTA: Foundation to Developing
CELTA is currently accredited in the UK by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) at Level 5 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is a 30-credit qualification.
Level five qualifications recognise specialist learning and involve detailed analysis of a high level of information and knowledge in an area of work or study.
